Music Strip Player

My little mechanical music strip player arrived this morning and its taking all my willpower not to have a go at it right here and now (at work).  If you’re not familiar with the gizmo, its essentially a DIY music box with changeable strips of paper. It comes with a few pre-made ones as well as some blanks and a tiny hole punch so you can make your own.  At a quick glance the player piece is obviously meant to be mounted in a box or plaque.  It is mostly metal but contains a few plastic parts. I’d have preferred all metal but so far I think its absolutely charming and has great SteamPunk potential, imho.
