April Fool’s List
First one that hit (and missed) me this morning was Google’s announcement of Gmail’s new ability to send email into the past. Nice try guys: https://mail.google.com/mail/help/customtime/index.html
I’ll update this list as I encounter new ones. You’re welcome to add any you run into as well.
I still like it. I enjoy them even if they aren’t really meant to “fool” anyone.
You’re right, I should salute any reasonable and clever attempt (especially in the business world).
ENWorld.org has become a review and preview site for OD&D (1978 editions and earlier). Along a similar vein is the Wizards of the Coast D&D page: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/welcome&dcmp=ILC-DND062006FP
World of Warcraft will be introducing a new Hero class called the Bard in Wrath of the Lich King. They power their abilities with something called Groove. http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/features/bard/bardclass.xml
I believe that the fact I’ve even spotted all three of these today sufficiently defends my geek cred. 😉
Those are both brilliant. And yes, your keen gamer-senses have earned you the level-title of Game Gangsta. Feel free to sign your posts and emails appropriately. 🙂

Ah the bold and majestic flight of the penguin. Nicely done!
