New Mobile Number

My new mobile number is active. Instead of trying to track down and email everyone on my caller list I’ve placed my new number on the voicemail greeting of my OLD number (which will remain semi-active till the end of the month).  And for the curious, yes, mobile numbers are portable, however, when you sign up a new service plan (and new number) you can occasionally get a much better deal on hardware… example:  transfer number and my phone would have cost $349.00, with a new plan/number the phone was $50 with an additional $50 rebate, i.e. free).

I figured a little inconvience was worth saving $349.99.  I don’t like strong arm tactics from phone companies, but I’m perfectly willing to be bribed with goodies like nice phones.
