Under the Covers
Covers Songs – Songs performed by an artist other than the original performer. Sometimes they are done out of respect and tribute, other times out of parody. Occasionally, the cover will even exceed the original in popularity and success.
A cover is not the same thing as a remix or sampling though (imho), so those do not appear here.
What does appear here are a few selected covers that have stuck out in my mind over the last couple decades up until recently. Certainly not a “Best Covers” selection by any means, just a few I thought folks migh recognize and wish to comment oor vote on.
